startGBC – WIL work placement

As part of my WIL work placement through the StartGBC program, I participated in a dynamic 16-week entrepreneurship initiative designed to cultivate business and startup skills. The placement began with an intensive 8-week boot camp that focused on key areas such as networking, client acquisition, business planning, and investor pitching.

In the following 8 weeks, I had weekly one-on-one mentorship meetings where I received personalized feedback and guidance on my progress and business development strategies. These sessions helped me refine my approach to client outreach, improve my confidence in pitching, and explore opportunities to attract angel investors.

Additionally, I took part in a business competition organized by StartGBC. My team and I were awarded a participation badge and received a $100 reward per person, recognizing our efforts and innovative ideas.

This experience greatly enhanced my entrepreneurial mindset and practical business skills, preparing me for future ventures in the startup ecosystem.
